Councils

According to the Pastoral Policy Handbook of the Diocese of Toledo, "The Parish Pastoral Council is to be an effetive body providing spirtual leadership in the parish community.  The Pastoral Council is a recommending and evaluating body, functioning as a faith community with general operational guidelines determined during the life of the group." Members are themselves a faith-sharing body whose ministry is pastoral planning for the parish and as an advisory group to the Pastor.

The Finance Council helps our parish provide financial stewardship of all the activities and minstries we support. Members use their business experience, knowldege of the parish and its people, and the religious ideals of the Church to help the pastoral staff make sound financial and business and decisions.

As caretakers of the many gifts and talents that God provides, this ministy provides opportunities and encourages parishioners to receive God's gifts gratefully, nuture them responsibly, abd share them justly and charitably, returning them with abundance to God. Through prayer, service, and sharing, we develop a steardship way of life and a closer relationship with God.
