It is truly wonderful to be returning the Norwalk Catholic community. I am humbled and honored by this opportunity. Here are some things to know about me. My main hobbies currently are disc golf, ultimate frisbee, making rosaries, guitar, piano, reading novels, and the occasional video game session with my brothers, but I have been known to golf, hike, fish, do leather work and carpentry, play boardgames, volleyball, and a whole lot more. My absolute favorite ‘hobby’ is simply discussing God and faith with others. At heart, I am significantly introverted. As an introvert, I enjoy intentional quality time with people. I have such a love for sitting down (or doing some activity) with a few people and simply talking about God, the faith, our spiritual lives, life stories, common interests, or anything else of worth. Above all else in my life, my love is for Jesus Christ in Scripture, prayer, and offering the Sacraments. Aside from the gift of himself and eternal salvation, priesthood is the greatest thing that God has ever given me (I was ordained a priest on May 27, 2020.) And I want more than anything else to deepen my love for Christ in the Eucharist and to help you deepen your love for him as well. Our community is entering into a new era with the bringing together of the parishes. But Christ is the sure foundation that never changes. No matter what else changes, we must hold fast to the unchanging peace and joy we find in Christ.
